UW System diversity award

For working with underrepresented and underprivileged college students a professor of UW-La Crosse is going to be recognized statewide.
A UW-L history professor named Víctor M. Macías-González will be awarded with a Board of Regents Diversity Award-2015 on Friday, 6 February, at the

Board of Regents Meeting in Madison. Up to three, $5,000 awards are made by the Board of Regents each year to recognize agents related to institutional change who foster access and success for historically underrepresented populations.

35th BCS Preliminary Examination is deferred

The Public Service Commission deferred “35th BCS preliminary examination” for one month. A. E. N. Nesaruddin, the exam controller of the commission, ensured that instead of 6 February the exam will be held on 6 March 2015.

He said on Tuesday that because of complications regarding test center the

exam has been deferred. In February, there are a number of exams including SSC. We need more than 200 centers. Considering all, the exam has been deferred for one month.
